AFFiT Five Special Development Projects — Application Form

Supports eligible applicants seeking academic advancement through approved programmes such as NCE, PGDE, B.ed, and Ph.D. in Education. Applicants must provide admission and academic documents for verification and undergo, AFFiT screening. The scholarship screening qualifying score is 80%. Scholarship value and duration depending on the approved fees, programme duration, available funds and approved terms. Give enough details including: Programme applied for, Institution, Course/Department, Admission status, Attached admission letter, Programme Duration, Current/Approved tuition or academic fee, Amount of support requested, Academic qualification/results summary and How will this qualification improve your professional/educational impact.

Provides practical and professional skills that can improve effectiveness, employability, leadership and contribution to education and AFFiT. Selection follows needs assessment, document review and screening/interview assessment where applicable. Kindly identify key training areas that may include but not limited to; ICT&AI, Public Speaking, Leadership, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Writing & Publishing, Communication, Digital Education, Research Methodology, Entrepreneurship, Grant Writing, Monitoring & Evaluation. Specific course/certification desired, Preferred training provider (if known), why you need the training, mode of application of the skill acquired in your school/work/AFFiT. expected certification or outcome, estimated training cost.

Supports practical, manageable and income-generating ventures generally requiring about 300,000 to 1million naira, subject to available funds. Examples include poultry, fish farming, livestock, snail farming, vegetable/cash-crop production, agricultural produce trading, food processing, tailoring, catering, printing, digital services, educational materials and small-scale retail. Applications proceed through proposal , verification, business assessment, interview/pitch, approval, funding and monitoring. Carefully outline the business category, business name/ proposed name, business location & address, new or existing business, years in operation (if existing), total capital required, amount requested from AFFiT, applicant contribution (equity), business model/source of income, use of funds summary, expected monthly income/profit after implementation, relevant experience/business abilities.

Provides a structured route for viable businesses, scalable ideas and projects requiring investment. AFFiT may participate through equity, profit-sharing, strategic partnership, joint venture, convertible investment or another approved structure. No investment is made without due diligence, negotiation and an appropriate legal agreement such as MoU, Investment Agreement or Shareholders' Agreement. Kindly state; Business/project name, current status, sector, business registration details (if applicable) current ownership structure, total funding required, investment requested from AFFiT, proposed AFFiT equity/share to benefit. proposed partnership structure, market/target customers, competitive advantage, revenue model, projected revenue/profit, use of investment, keys risks and mitigation.

Strengthens research culture and the production and dissemination of credible educational knowledge. It covers research projects, journal articles, books, academic and conference papers, educational manuals, learning materials, policy papers, research reports, B.Ed/M.Ed/Ph.d. research, innovations and case studies. Applications proceed through concept submission, technical/research review, approval, mentorship/development, production, review and publication/dissemination. Kindly write; Project type, proposed title, institution/department, supervisor/mentor (if applicable), problem statement/purpose, research objectives/questions, proposed methodology (where applicable) expected outcomes/impact, target journal/publisher/conference/platform, estimated budget (if funding requested), fnding requested from AFFiT.
